Ngāti Kahu ki Whangaroa

This rohe map is based on the Area of Interest agreed between Ngāti Kahu ki Whangaroa and the Crown in the Deed of Settlement signed on 18 December 2015. Ngāti Kahu ki Whangaroa Area of Interest from the Deed of Settlement [JPG, 206KB].

Commencing from Taemaro along the coastline: Omata – Te Whatu (Bergans Point) then following the coastline of Tokerau (Doubtless Bay) to Waiaua – Te Hihi – Paewhenua Motu (Island) – entering the mouth of the Oruaiti River then inland bordering Ngāti Kahu and Ngāpuhi taking in Otangaroa – Maunga Taratara – Waihapa – Waihapa Bay – then following the shoreline along Totara North around to Taupo Bay – northwards to Frear Bay – Tupou Bay – Motukahakaha – Waimahana and connecting back to Taemaro.
